Got a stack
of notebooks filled with unseen stories stashed somewhere at home?
If you have
always been dreaming of being a published storywriter, you can get a head start
by sharing your best short story on Kuala Lumpur and who knows, you might see
your piece in print.
It’s
simple, really. Organised by Fixi Novo, a label under local contemporary
publisher Buku Fixi, stories will be selected to be featured in the second
volume of KL Noir which will be published in October 2013. (KL Noir is a
4-volume anthology about the dark side of Malaysia’s capital city.)

All you
have to do is get your creative juices going and churn out a story of between
2,000 to 5,000 words. Story should be set in Kuala Lumpur, and genre should be
dark – dramatic, thrilling, mysterious.
Once you
think you have an engaging piece, email it to info@fixi.com.my
no later than 31 March 2013. Visit http://www.facebook.com/KLNoir
for more details or email them to know more.
