2. No chunky paragraphs. Use bullet points and make sure font colours contrast with background and big enough to be read. Graphs and pictures are good stuff.
3. Before half time, the panel must know exactly what you are trying to do.
4. Be transparent on cost, income, profit and what is corporate social responsibility and what is not.
5. Do not show anger when the panel pokes you. Answer calmly even if you are angry.
6. Basic presentation structure as follows:
- Introduction.
- Objective.
- Background.
- Unique Selling Proposition.
- What to do? Who to do? When to do?
- How much will it cost?
- What is the benefit expected?
- What do you want from the panel?
- When do you report back to the panel?
- Thank you.
7. Maximum 10 slides. Optimum 7 slides. Minimum 5 slides. Always assume that you only have 5 minutes to present.
8. Stick to maximum two presenters. One is better.
9. Even if your English is broken, just speak anyway but make short sentences and use simple words.
10. Do not promise things you cannot deliver.
