Fashion plays an important role in culture. But what people tend to forget is that fashion also plays an important role in contributing to the country's economy.
Malaysia is heavily dependent on oil n gas, agriculture as well as electronics. We must build a safety net to complement these economic resources. What better candidate to do this if not the fashion industry?
There is a great aspiration by our government to grow the entrepreneurship movement in this country. Many initiatives have been created to encourage entreprenuers.
I strongly urge the fashion community to take up the challenge to be fashion entrepreneurs.
